Amish agriculture is all about a simple, sustainable, and self-reliant lifestyle.
Known for their traditional way of life, 
we partner with local Amish farmers to 
plant mushrooms without relying on 
modern technology.

Our Process

These amazing mushrooms are the secret to our rich and flavorful umami-packed sauces that can compliment any dish. How do we cultivate them?
Selection
All the mushrooms we use for our sauces begin with hand selecting the perfect wood to house our mushroom spores.

Choosing a good piece of wood will allow us to provide the mushroom spores a nutrient-rich substrate to grow and thrive in.
Sow
We then hand sow all the spores into the logs for precise and controlled distribution.

Mushrooms can be finicky to grow, but by slowly hand planting our spores, we are able to adjust our process to adapt to each species’ requirements for maximum yield.
Success
Our crew spends countless hours tracking temperature, humidity, and sunlight to ensure quality.

Frequent observation of the mushrooms are essential for monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to the growing conditions.
